1. Purpose

This Student Agreement ("Agreement") governs the relationship between Meritza Classes ("Meritza Classes", "Platform", "we", "our", or "us") and any student, parent, guardian, or user ("Student", "Parent", "you", or "your") utilizing mentorship services offered through the Platform.

By registering, booking sessions, making payments, participating in mentorship programs, or otherwise using Platform services, you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement and all related Platform policies.

This Agreement shall be read together with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Child Safety Policy, Community Guidelines, and other Platform policies.

2. Nature of Services

Meritza Classes provides mentorship, academic guidance, educational support, career counseling, and related educational services.

The Platform:

  • Is not a school, college, university, coaching institute, or examination authority.
  • Does not grant degrees, diplomas, certificates, or academic accreditation.
  • Does not guarantee academic success, admissions, scholarships, placements, or career outcomes.

Mentorship is intended to support learning and development but does not replace individual effort or formal education.

3. Eligibility

Students below eighteen (18) years of age must participate with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Parents remain responsible for supervising minor students and ensuring compliance with Platform policies.

Meritza Classes may request verification of age, identity, or parental authorization at any time.

4. Student Responsibilities

Students agree to:

  • Attend sessions punctually.
  • Participate respectfully.
  • Maintain appropriate behavior.
  • Complete assigned homework and tasks.
  • Communicate honestly with mentors.
  • Maintain academic integrity.
  • Follow Platform instructions.
  • Use services only for lawful purposes.

Students are expected to actively participate in the mentorship process.

Educational progress requires effort from the student and cannot be achieved solely through mentor involvement.

5. Parental Responsibilities

Parents and guardians agree to:

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Support the student's participation.
  • Monitor minor students where appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with Platform policies.
  • Cooperate with Platform investigations when necessary.
  • Avoid interference that disrupts mentorship sessions.

Parents acknowledge that mentorship effectiveness depends upon student engagement and participation.

6. Attendance and Punctuality

Students are expected to join sessions on time.

Repeated lateness, absences, or non-participation may:

  • Reduce mentorship effectiveness.
  • Affect mentor scheduling.
  • Result in session forfeiture under applicable policies.

Missed sessions shall be governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Homework and Assignments

Students acknowledge that:

  • Mentors may assign homework.
  • Mentors may assign practice tasks.
  • Mentors may assign reading materials.
  • Mentors may assign academic exercises.

Students are responsible for completing assigned work within reasonable timelines.

Failure to complete assignments may affect learning outcomes.

Meritza Classes shall not be responsible for academic consequences resulting from incomplete work.

8. Contact Sharing Restrictions

To protect student safety and Platform integrity, students and parents shall not directly or indirectly request, exchange, share, or attempt to obtain:

  • Mobile numbers.
  • WhatsApp numbers.
  • Email addresses.
  • Social media profiles.
  • Telegram IDs.
  • Personal websites.
  • Direct communication links.
  • Any personal contact information of mentors.

Likewise, students shall not provide their own personal contact information to mentors unless expressly authorized by Meritza Classes.

9. Non-Circumvention

Students and parents shall not:

  • Arrange direct mentorship with Platform mentors.
  • Establish private coaching arrangements arising from Platform introductions.
  • Attempt to bypass Platform systems.
  • Facilitate off-platform relationships.
  • Encourage mentors to provide independent services.

Any attempt to circumvent Platform operations constitutes a material breach of this Agreement.

10. Direct Payments Prohibited

Students and parents shall not:

  • Offer payments directly to mentors.
  • Transfer money directly to mentors.
  • Negotiate mentor fees independently.
  • Discuss alternative payment arrangements.

All payments relating to Platform services must be processed exclusively through Meritza Classes.

11. Recording Restrictions

Students and parents shall not record, reproduce, distribute, upload, publish, stream, or share any session without prior written authorization from Meritza Classes and all participating individuals.

Unauthorized recordings may result in immediate suspension or termination.

12. Respectful Conduct

Students and parents shall not:

  • Harass mentors.
  • Threaten mentors.
  • Abuse mentors.
  • Use offensive language.
  • Engage in discriminatory conduct.
  • Disrupt sessions.
  • Interfere with Platform operations.

All participants must maintain a respectful learning environment.

13. Technology Responsibility

Students and parents are responsible for maintaining:

  • Internet connectivity.
  • Compatible devices.
  • Audio equipment.
  • Video equipment.
  • Access to required applications.

Meritza Classes shall not be responsible for user-side technical issues that affect participation.

14. Confidentiality

Students and parents may receive access to confidential information relating to:

  • Mentors.
  • Platform operations.
  • Educational materials.
  • Internal procedures.
  • Business information.

Such information shall remain confidential and shall not be disclosed without authorization.

15. Intellectual Property

All educational materials, documentation, systems, branding, content, resources, designs, policies, and Platform materials remain the exclusive property of Meritza Classes or its licensors.

Students and parents shall not:

  • Copy.
  • Sell.
  • Redistribute.
  • Modify.
  • Commercially exploit.
  • Publish Platform materials without prior written consent.

16. Child Safety Compliance

Students, parents, and guardians acknowledge and agree to comply with the Platform's Child Safety Policy.

Meritza Classes maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward:

  • Harassment.
  • Abuse.
  • Exploitation.
  • Bullying.
  • Grooming.
  • Predatory behavior.

Safety concerns should be reported immediately to the Platform.

17. Investigation Rights

Meritza Classes reserves the right to:

  • Review complaints.
  • Review attendance records.
  • Review communications.
  • Verify compliance with policies.
  • Request supporting information.
  • Conduct internal investigations.

Students and parents agree to cooperate fully with such investigations.

18. Suspension and Termination

Meritza Classes may suspend, restrict, or terminate access without prior notice where:

  • Policies are violated.
  • Fraud is suspected.
  • Misconduct occurs.
  • Circumvention is identified.
  • Safety concerns arise.
  • Platform interests are threatened.

Termination may occur immediately and without liability.

19. No Guarantee of Results

Students and parents acknowledge that Meritza Classes does not guarantee:

  • Examination scores.
  • Board results.
  • JEE ranks.
  • NEET ranks.
  • Admissions.
  • Scholarships.
  • Placements.
  • Career outcomes.

Educational success depends upon multiple factors beyond the Platform's control.

20. Indemnification

Students and parents agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meritza Classes from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, expenses, penalties, or legal costs arising from:

  • Violation of this Agreement.
  • Misuse of Platform services.
  • Unlawful conduct.
  • Breach of Platform policies.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meritza Classes shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages arising from participation in Platform services.

Any liability shall remain subject to limitations contained in the Terms & Conditions.

22. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising under this Agreement shall first be addressed through good-faith discussions.

If unresolved, the matter shall be referred to arbitration in Delhi under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The arbitration shall:

  • Be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by Meritza Classes.
  • Be conducted in English.
  • Take place in Delhi, India.
  • Result in a final and binding award.

23. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to arbitration provisions, courts located in Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

25. Student Acknowledgement

By registering, booking sessions, making payments, attending mentorship sessions, or otherwise using Platform services, students and parents acknowledge that:

  • They have read and understood this Agreement.
  • They agree to comply with all Platform policies.
  • They understand the restrictions described herein.
  • They acknowledge that violations may result in suspension, termination, denial of services, legal action, or other remedies available under applicable law.
